 Muay Thai Camp is Monday - Thursday Feb 15-19th 8-9pm
Seminars are Saturday, Feb 21st 1-4pm and Sunday, Feb 22nd 1-4pm
Prices:
Muay Thai Camp (includes Mon-Thur training and both seminars): $120 for MMA Institute, $150 for non-members
Seminars: $50 for one day/$85 for both for MMA Institute, $60 for one day/$100 for both for non-members
Semi-Private Training (Groups of 2 or 4 students) $100/hour for MMA Institute, $120/hour for non-members

There were many things happening at MMA Institute on Saturday, November 22nd. Third degree Gracie Barra black belt, Kazeka Muniz offered a seminar covering techniques in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, No-Gi grappling, and MMA takedowns. Fight Team Training brought MMA Institute fight teams in from Winchester, Harrisonburg, and Richmond and also welcomed teams cross training from other academies. But of all the learning, training, drilling, and sparring, the most note worthy event was certainly when Kazeka Muniz and Rick McCoy promoted Jake Young to be a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. After training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 12 years, Jake certainly put the time in and dedication to achieve the skill level required to receive such an honor. Congratulations, Jake! All MMA Institute students are fortunate to have you as a team member and an instructor.

Stellar performances by four of MMA Institute’s professional fighters competing November 15, 2008 at Cagefest Extreme. Of the fighters featured, 2 defeated UFC veterans in exciting battles at Cagefest’s first all-pro event in Norfolk, VA.
