Congratulations to all the children in the Kids Program! Each individual contributed to the team and as a result, MMA Institute brought home the 1st place trophy from the Junior Grappling Tournament on January 8th in Hampton, VA. We are proud of all our students who competed in this Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and No-Gi Grappling Tournament!

Kazeka Muniz is a Third Degree BJJ Black Belt under Carlos Gracie Jr., the head of the famous Gracie Barra Team from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Kazeka Muniz has competed successfully throughout the world in BJJ, submission wrestling and MMA. He is 2 x BJJ World Champion and 5 x BJJ Brazilian National Champion with many other titles in wrestling and MMA. His record in MMA is 11 and 1. He trains with the Cuban and Russian boxing teams and is Michael Bisping's BJJ coach.
