Re:Judo ?? - 2007/07/26 01:06 Ok I just took my first Judo class tonight. I don't like the landing on your side part but other than that the class is pretty cool. Serious question. Is it proper etiquette go shoot in for take-downs like we do in Clinch & Take Down classes? I ask this cause when we were Judo sparring for the last 20 minutes of class I tried doing the 2 throws we learned tonight & said f**k this and reverted back to what I know naturally.

Re:Judo ?? - 2007/07/30 09:51 What's up SandBaggingLou?! I have not attended this class yet, but as far at etiquette goes, you probably should stick to the throws learned in the lesson. Even though you have skills with other types of take downs, the point is probably to work on what you just learned. In time, it will get easier, and you will have more weapons in your arsenal for clinch and take downs.

See you in a few months.. again.
